Job summary:

A highly self-motivated individual who thrives under the pressure of exceeding sales targets, you will be highly adept at quickly building professional relationships and closing high margin business. Targeting medium to large corporate clients across the UK promoting Managed Cloud services through a consultative sales pitch, you will be responsible for developing a pipeline and managing your sales process to generate new business revenues and long term customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will be use to selling an solutions outcome rather than a technical solution

With a proven track record in business to business sales, excellent networking skills and a black book bursting with potential customers, you will join an energetic, high performing team of sales professionals who are in place to take Managed Cloud services to the next level of its commercial development. Ideally educated to degree level, this is likely to be your second or third sales job within field-based IT sales or outsourcing.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • New business sales
  • Self-generated appointments, although lead generation activity will also boost your appointment activity
  • Exceed monthly sales targets
  • Manage pipeline, through from initial contact to closure, accurately forecast and reporting
  • Constantly improve product knowledge through both self-study and supported development
  • Liaise with internal staff to ensure smooth implementation of services
  • To work within the requirements of our information security standards

Minimum qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Experience of Managed IT and/or Managed Cloud services (essential)
  • Proven sales record in strategic or consultative selling
