The opportunity is to join a newly establish, venture capitalist backed City based provider of IT Managed Services. The business is a consultancy that focusses around migration to the cloud, onsite/off site backup and Disaster Recovery as well as IT hardware to SME sized clients. They also partner with an IT support company to provide their customers with helpdesk support. The business is 5 people and looking to expand. It is an excellent time to join and gain experience in seeing how a business is started from the ground up. You would gain lots of valuable experience beyond just sales.

The role itself is a new business sales role working as a Sales Account Manager. You will be given excellent support but the Sales Manager who will work closely with you, and the MD and Solutions Architect; who will provide you with technical training/support. You will be tasked with using their database as well as self-sourced data to generate new business opportunities with London based clients through proactive phone based activity and networking. They are open to if you go out to client meetings alone, supported or have someone else close the opportunities for you, depending on how comfortable you feel around each prospect.

Basic salary is circa £24,000 plus uncapped commission with a £40,000 OTE. Future career progression and development opportunities are excellent. There is some flexibility re the basic for the right person.
