Our client a Leasing & Contract Hire Specialist In Darwen, Greater Manchester is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the Manchester & North West area
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a small but expanding Contract Hire Company that have embarked on a significant growth. Working in both and office and field sales capacity (Manchester and the North West initially) this is a rare opportunity for someone with Contract Hire experience or someone who is working in a dealership and have experience in Contract Hire/Leasing. The company deals with both private and corporate sector so any fleet experience would be an advantage.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is willing to commit themselves to the role and build the business and as it grows take charge of not only the day to day running but of developing a team as the company expands in other geographical locations. In other words we are looking for someone who is hungry for success and wants to reap the rewards of this, getting in at the start.
Whilst some leads are provided, you will be expected to develop your own client list and will have the acumen to network, whether by Social Media or by attending networking meetings such as business breakfast clubs. A substantial database will also be at your disposal as well as marketing material and marketing back up.
Your CV must highlight the following:
Your achievements within a sales capacity
Your sales performance against targets.
The size of fleets you have sold to. (if applicable)
The things about you that make you special
What gives you the most working satisfaction
How you organise yourself for the working day, week, month, year.
Ability and desire to sell
Confidence and tenacity to pursue leads, overcome obstacles, and secure deals
Business acumen, and the ability to make accurate forecasts of revenue
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
Self-motivation and adaptability
Ability to work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
Determination, diplomacy, and excellent interpersonal skills
IT and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficient
Act Database knowledge
Social Media Skills (Twitter/LinkedIn/Facebook)
