Purchase ledger job based in Preston paying £15,000-£16,000, permanent opportunity

Your new company
A well-established business based on the outskirts of Preston are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. The business has been trading over 40 years, and they pride themselves on being market leaders in their sector.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant you will be part of a large team. Working within the purchase ledger team you will be responsible for the processing up to 300 invoices per week . This will involve matching and coding invoices, statement reconciliation, managing complex invoice queries and accruing payment for deductions at month end.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require at least two years' experience within a similar role and be available to start immediate. Previous experience on an accounting system is also desirable

What you'll get in return
In return you will be working for a market leading company working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30- 5. You will be rewarded with a salary between £15,000-£16,000 depending on experience and free parking available.
