Are you an outgoing, confident Assistant Operations Manager, who can manage, train and inspire a team to deliver amazing customer service within the hotel industry?

Our client operates some of the UK's best known hotels, pubs & restaurants, offering the very best in product quality, whilst delivering great service, quality and value for money to their customers.

The Assistant Operations Manager will manage the day-to-day running of the hotel and be very hands-on with driving the standards and service forwards. Ensuring and exceeding guest satisfaction is key to this role and you will be expected to be an excellent host. The ability to lead, motivate, train and develop our enthusiastic staff to also deliver their best performance at all times is essential.

This is a full time permanent position. The hours will vary but will involve early mornings, late nights and weekends. You will be reporting and accountable to the Hotel Operations Manager.

The Person

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Previous Assistant or Deputy Operations Manager experience in a 3 or 4* hotel (ideally)

  • Food & Beverage Management experience

  • Passion for providing the ultimate customer experience with excellent people and hosting skills

  • Pro-active leadership skills, with ability and desire to motivate and develop your staff and a hands-on approach

  • Strong organisational and team management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication, strong numeracy and computer skills

  • A calm problem-solving approach, even when under pressure

  • Well presented, with a keen eye for detail

The Rewards

Salary up to £23,000 per annum with a 50% potential bonus package
