Job hunting can often be and often is Medieval. Trying to find that balance of job satisfaction, career progression and maintaining your social life is often impossible. Searching through the different roles trying to find which could deliver on the promises and which only offers only false hope. Then there is dealing galleons of people just before you get the chance to meet your potential hiring manager. Well this is where you're in luck. Those are days are long behind, carved into the history books and long forgotten, at least, in terms of this job they are.

So now let's take a step forward and into the future of job adverts. Clarity and Honesty.

My client is on the hunt for an additional web developer to join their team. They don't obsess about skillsets and keywords; who you are and how you think are more important, but if you want an idea of what the role entails, then in a nutshell it'll mostly be maintaining and building websites. That means almost exclusively .Net (mostly MVC), although crossover knowledge of frontend (in particular JavaScript development including AngularJS) would be very helpful.

What's in it for you?

*Competitive salary of £31,000 - £36,000 (dependant on experience)
*A positive and fantastic working culture
*The opportunity to work with software from start to finish. Having your say in the entire process.
*A company that values your development and progression

And what do we expect from you?

*Strong experience of full-lifecycle development (using ASP.NET, C#.NET, Javascript, JQuery) is essential, as well as SQL Server skills.
*Experience working with continuous delivery practices, like Agile would be beneficial
*Experience working with HTML/XHTML is a plus
*Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
*An ability to rapidly learn and understand the key drivers in this very specific area of development and translate that into robust application code
*Respond well to user research and evaluate user feedback
*Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively to meet the needs of the business and the project.
