Interim Finance Manager
Cooper Lomaz have an immediate requirement for a Interim Finance Manager to join our highly recognisable client in the Peterborough area for a period of 6 months. The role will support an ongoing project to drive the quality of financial reports and controls within the business and will be responsible for a small team to deliver the project on time. It is also expected that the Finance Manager will support the management of the month end cycle on financial reports, delivering these to demanding deadlines and to local policies.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Challenge and Drive the quality of current financial reports, finding solutions on how to improve current processes
- Management of the General Ledger to maintain accuracy and integrity of the data.
- Manage team to produce month end reports that are compliant with IFRS
- Support the transfer of key financials to Shared Service Centre
The successful candidate will ideally be either immediately available or available at short notice to interview and commence work. A recognised accounting qualification is also preferred (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a background in leading and motivating a team. A strong technical accounting background is desirable and candidates will have the ability to find solutions that will drive the quality of the financial reports produced.
