I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of leading organisation in the Carlisle area who are looking to hire an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for processing high volume invoices as well as credit notes and GRNs to the purchase ledger. Alongside this, you will also be happy to get involved with other areas of the accounts function and support your team members when necessary.

Key Duties:
• Posting invoices on to the Purchase Ledger
• Setting up new supplier Accounts
• Undertaking GRN matching tasks
• Controlling of supplier Purchase Orders
• Assisting in any other adhoc duties within the department

You will have previous Purchase Ledger experience within a high invoice volume business and possess a high level of Microsoft Excel skills. You will be an excellent communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude and work well as part of a team.
