Our leading healthcare client based in Wiltshire have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Ward Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of the multidisciplinary team you will deliver direct patient care, delegating and supervising care delivery of Healthcare Assistants.

Key duties will include:

- Providing high quality nursing care and support and develop team members as appropriate

- Assessing and accurately maintaining clinical observations of the patient, escalating as indicated when variances occur

- Taking charge of the ward in the absence of more senior staff

- Being responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records

Skills & Experience:

  • NMC Registered Nurse Level 1
  • Extensive relevant experience in acute care or elective surgical nursing with experience in inpatient nursing
  • Knowledge and skills of acute surgical care provision
  • Up to date hands on clinical skills including phlebotomy, IV drug administration and performing ECG's
  • Basic / Intermediate life support skills Training and development will be given to enhance basic nursing skills to include the above.
