Field Sales/Account Manager - Market Leading Fitness Equipment Supplier London and the South up to 35K OTE 52.5K + Car
We have an outstanding opportunity to work in a field sales roles for one of the market leading international health and fitness equipment suppliers. You will be tasked with looking after a large territory including the lucrative London market as well as the South of England and the South West.
You will be focusing on the trust and local authority health and fitness sectors where you will benefit from key account managing a number of large clients in addition to prospecting and tendering for new business. You will be expected to make around 10 face to face appointments per week and as such you will need to be making around 40 calls each week to set these appointments whilst also benefiting from a large number of incoming leads and referrals from the central support and marketing teams.
A key part of the job will involve the preparation and submission of tenders and quotations in addition to the design and layout of gyms so financial acumen combined with well-developed IT and presentation skills are important.
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in the health and fitness industry but are very open to backgrounds, whether that is from club management, cluster or group fitness management or sales management. The key is to find an individual with a tenacious and go getting attitude, who will put in the calls and the mileage to meet and exceed their KPIs and most importantly to close business and build partnerships. Previous experience of working with the Challenger sales approach is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided in this technique.
In conducting numerous face to face meetings and making presentations you will need a confident, personable disposition with good all round interpersonal, communication and written skills being essential. My client offers excellent opportunities for further career development down the line. As this is a field sales role it is essential candidates have a driving licence and are willing and able to spend large parts of their working day covering this wide geographical territory. They are flexible as to the base location but realistically being close to London will be advantageous.
My client offers a highly competitive basic of up to 35K with a realistic and highly achievable bonus taking the OTE package for hitting target to 52.5K. You will typically have a quality company car such as an Audi A4.
