They are seeking a Business Development Director to join their UK branch and head up the service promotion within their high performing sales Team. You will take responsibility for the achievement of revenue line, creating business opportunites, controlling resource, setting direction and winning new business to an agreed target. Assisting the Operational Managers with commercial issues as requested. Responsible for the development and management of the overall sales pipeline.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Sales and Customer relationship activities
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
  • Take ownership of the of the sales functions
  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth
  • Working to stringent targets, you will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business opportunity
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets
  • To self-generate sales opportunities and create a strong growth platform aligned to business growth plan
  • To achieve set revenue and margin targets for the Company’s Sales Operations in accordance with the overall business plan
  • To develop and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects working with Directors and Managers on commercial projects within key customers as directed
  • To prepare tender documents and direct the sales process in support of new business opportunities
  • To ensure sufficient quantity and quality of resources to meet the company’s sales objectives.
  • To be a member of the company’s Senior Management team, attend meetings and contribute at a level commensurate with a Director’s position
  • To lead and direct other company projects as required
  • To ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
