Customer Services Assistant

Our client, a successful, small but growing financial services organisation, are recruiting for a Customer Services Assistant to carry out various roles within the Customer Services Department to ensure the processing of business runs smoothly.


- Dealing with all external post and internal despatch received and distribute accordingly

- Answering telephone calls

- Preparing and inputting new business for processing in accordance with current procedures and processes

- Scanning all correspondence in accordance with agreed procedure

- Processing of maturities including inputting and amending bank details etc.

- Covering for Customer Services Manager dealing with ISA transfers in and lump sum investments

- Covering for Customer Services Manager dealing with reinvestment for ISAs and With Profit Bonds

- Inputting data onto the database

- Any other duties as required by the Chief Executive Officer

Skills and experience required:

- Excellent customer service skills

- Experience in administration

- Preference will be given to candidates with some financial services experience

- 5 GCSE C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent)
