Business Development Manager - Media / Advertising
Engage in the acquisition & nurture new high and mid spend customers, delivering Multimedia Advice and Expertise
Overview of role
To focus on acquiring new relationships and revenue from within a framework of defined geographic territories.
Create the conditions and environment for a high performance Acquisition team.
Drive development and adoption of CRM and comprehensive performance and territory analytics to support growth.
Advocate and integrate new products and audience development opportunities for customers & prospects developed by the team.
Key areas of accountability:
- Drive the entire sales process, from territory planning, appointing, 2 stage call recording, closing and Campaign fulfillment
- Support a culture where the focus is on delivering satisfying customer experience which builds long term profitable relationships
- Create sustainable multimedia relationships, through quality customer experiences
- Generate New Customer relationships through clear and effective territory ownership and management.
- Support the delivery of quality conversations around why change and customer challenges
- Lead, manage and inspire teams in all aspects of daily activity, achieving and exceeding revenue, productivity and sales targets and KPI performance area
- Adopt the JP Sales Process with recording and data capture within the SFDC territory support tool.
- Delivery of regular and consistent individual coaching on both behavioural and performance delivery
- Instill effective Geographic territory and call planning to optimise contact and performance.
- Achieve and exceed Customer care standards and activity expectations
- Educate customers in new products and propositions that will enhance their business performance and meet group objectives by utilising high quality sales material to reinforce the sales message and processes
- Deliver quality conversations building integrated Multimedia solutions
- Nurture talent and grow the capabilities of team members
- Work as part of a team and contribute to shared goals and objectives
- Actively review measures and KPI’s of team to Continuously improve outputs.
