2nd Line IT Support Analyst

Location: Wokingham

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum

This role with require travelling to other company offices and customer sites in and around London.

Our client is a technology services provider; supporting its customers through the complex lifecycle of their assets from acquisition through to retirement, including supply of all the resources required to consult, support and project manage throughout the journey.

The role of the 2nd Line IT Support Analyst:

They are looking to hire a 2nd Line IT Support Analyst into their Managed Services team to provide a proactive and reactive technical support service to achieve customer satisfaction as required across both our client's and customer environments.

In this role, you will work as part of an established team to manage and facilitate the resolution of technical issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring minimum business impact in accordance with KPIs and SLAs.

Requirements of the 2nd Line IT Support Analyst:

    Experience with building physical and virtual machinesProficient with operating systems, including but not limited to:

      Windows 7 - 10Windows Server 2008 - 2016Linux variants (not essential)Demonstrable experience in the following technologies:Windows 7, 8.1 and 10Office 2010 - 2016 and 365SharePointActive DirectoryMobile phones (iOS, Microsoft and Android)Video Conferencing
      Ability to handle day-to-day technical issues, including but not limited to:

        Printer issuesPerformance issues with user devicesHardware fixes and warranty managementInstalls, moves and changesPassword resetsApplication failuresSetting up mobile devicesBOYD supportPhone support (deskside and mobile)Boardroom support
        Technical troubleshooting in heterogeneous environmentsBasic working knowledge of server infrastructure and networkingExperience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNowKnowledge and understanding of working to defined SLAsUnderstanding of IT workflows/ITIL practices An excellent troubleshooting mentalityExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to multi task, handle high workloads and high call volumes in a busy working environmentProactive approach to problem solving and service improvementAbility to cross train and pick up different technologies as requiredAbility to liaise effectively with users and other support team members
