As the Head of Internal Audit you will be responsible for:
- Create a work plan for the internal audit framework that is clearly aligned with the operational and strategic risks of the organisation.
- Building a network of relationships and understanding across the organisation with relevant executive and operational stakeholders, in order to assess and establish the strategic and operational risks.
Updating and maintaining the strategic risk registers, assessing the operational risk plan and establishing best practice risk management across the function.
- Taking the function from reactive to proactive, identifying methodology and work-flows to create an audit function that is consultative and front-leading.
This role will be based in London with part-time hours (21 hours per week) which can be organised as a flexible working plan. There will be no travel with this role.
As the successful candidate, you will be an all-rounded audit and risk professional, who is able to demonstrate knowledge of establishing audit frameworks across financial, operational and IT audits.
