We are seeking to appoint a competent and efficient administrator to provide an effective service to the Special Educational Needs Team at our popular and oversubscribed STEM specialist academy. Applications are welcomed from administrators adept in working in a busy office environment, ideally in a school setting.

The successful SEN Administrator should be highly organised and can demonstrate on ability to work under pressure with a diverse workload. You will have a high level of self-motivation, using this to find solutions to administrative problems. You will be able to engage and work with young people, including the ability to handle difficult situations. Experience of SIMS and working with SEN students would be highly desirable attributes.

Main Duties

* Using SIMS to maintain and update pupil files
* Provide administrative support to the Inclusion Manager and SENCO
* Liaise with outside agencies
* Prepare referral paperwork
* Answering telephones and forwarding queries appropriately
