Senior Planner/Team Leader- Social Housing (Temporary Ongoing)

One of our social housing clients are looking for a Senior Planner/Scheduler and Team Leader to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis in North London.

This role is a Senior position and you will be required to manage a small team of around 10 planner/schedulers working within the reactive maintenance team. You will ideally have worked within the social housing sector and within a similar management role.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Managing a small team of planner/schedulers within the reactive maintenance team.
  • Overseeing operative management and diary management to ensure repairs are carried out within a set time frame.
  • Ensuring team are liaising with residents,operatives and third parties efficiently and within company standard. Ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times.
  • Report writing, carrying out appraisals, employee report running and contract report writing/running.
  • Ensuring that delivery is within a set time frame and within budget. Liaising with team supervisor at all times.
  • Assisting with planning/scheduling of operatives during peak times.
  • Assisting with training new employees on bespoke internal systems and databases.

Ideally you will have a knowledge and understanding of the social housing sector, repairs/maintenance and an understanding of the nature of work carried out and tight deadlines. This role is working within a fast paced environment.

This role is temporary ongoing with a view to going permanent should you be successful in the role and pass a 3 month probationary period. Working Monday-Friday 40-45 Hours per week on a varied shift pattern. Paying up to £16 GBP per hour.
