Are you passionate about delivering high quality solutions and Customer Success? Do you have experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing, commercial 'Services' capacity, where you have lead others preferably providing SaaS-based solutions to customers?

If so; an 'Head of Account Development' is needed by a successful and high growth provider of SaaS HCM, HR & Payroll Technology and wider HR improvement services to be responsible for the overall retention, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation from its customer base.

Through a team of dedicated Account Managers, the 'Head of Account Development' must ensure that the business is positioned in the best possible way, to maximise revenue from customer opportunities, and that customers receive appropriate and ongoing communication with the objective of optimising client retention and increasing recurring revenues.

The role requires a high level of product and SaaS HCM, HR and Payroll improvement Services and Solutions industry knowledge, innovation, exemplary interpersonal skills and a tenacity towards achieving sales outcomes, increasing revenues and reaching personal, team and company targets.

Responsibilities include managing a team of Account Development Managers, developing and implementing management processes to ensure the efficient running of the Account Management team whilst providing SME advice and support.

Key tasks will include maintaining regular contact and keep accurate records of all customer communication, researching and taking a proactive approach to the development of opportunities whilst feeding back and making suggestions towards future product developments.

The successful candidate will be broadly skilled, commercial and multi-talented including being systems conversant (holding the ability to provide online demos of core products), demonstrate knowledge of HR trends and legislation and will contribute to marketing initiatives, promoting new services and products across the customer base.

Critical elements of success include achieving sales objectives, both personal and team, providing a timely response and to keep up to date with all customer follow up activity, to build and maintain sufficient knowledge of products, services, and company ethos, overseeing the development and provision of appropriate sales and account management resources and skills, developing business through sales strategies and working practices.

In summary; you will have existing experience of working for a 'Services' client-facing business (preferably in the SaaS HCM / HRIS / HR Technology, HR and Payroll domain), first class communication skills, be commercial, be a confident and effective presenter, have a positive and tenacious attitude, a keen eye for detail, be an accomplished sales professional, be self-motivated, capable of working without supervision and possess a broad understanding of Human Resources issues.
