TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT RETAIL TRADE COUNTER ADMINISTRATOR - BEDFORD - £8.00 - £9.53 PER HOUR

We are currently recruiting a retail and web sales administrator to ensure the smooth running and supervision
of a trade counter and web sales department. This will involve stock replenishment, purchasing and cash handling.

Key tasks with include the following:

Trade Counter:

  • Develop and maximise sales through project work, forward planning, promotions, and sales events working in hand with graphic design.
  • Drive awareness and sales by calling local companies to offer membership.
  • Provide a helpful, courteous and efficient service to all customers.
  • Have a complete knowledge of products to advise and assist customers.
  • Replenish and display merchandise with accuracy and creativity.
  • Be responsible for cash handling and till procedures.
  • Ensure our team members are fully trained and clear communication of new ideas or methods to staff concerned.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation both in store and of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and procedures.
  • Maintain stock levels and accuracy including conducting stock takes.
  • Carrying out other duties as and when deemed necessary.

  • Accurately input and despatch customer web orders and collect payments.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints efficiently.

The successful candidate will have retail customer service experience. The working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (9.45am to 4.15pm) and Saturday (9:45am-2:15pm) 1 in 4 Saturdays can be changed for a weekday if required.
