A CCTV Operations Manager is required on a permanent basis with British Transport Police (BTP) based at Ebury Bridge, London. Annual salary is £40,699.62 per annum plus £2,495 London Allowance and 10% on-call allowance.

BTP is the national police Force for Britain's rail network. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and railway staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As a CCTV Operations Manager you will be responsible to manage the Force CCTV Department services and staff (Nationally) ensuring operational and technical efficiency and delivery of services to support the British Transport Police. Act as the Force technical expert in CCTV processing disciplines.

As a CCTV Operations Manager you will be required to:

- Manage overall departmental performance and produce performance management information to the Force, ensuring that performance indicators remain relevant and focused on the Policing Plans
- Provide "on call" duties as CCTV Manager, make decisions on resource management and deployment to support SIO's operational requirements for major investigations and coordinate resources throughout the required CCTV recovery process.
- Support the Head of CCTV in producing strategic plans for the CCTV Department and proactively seek methods of improving service delivery.
- Manage Area/Stakeholder relationships at tactical/operational level, ensuring that queries/issues are resolved appropriately.

The successful CCTV Operations Manager will be required to evidence the following skills/experience:

- Previous experience of working in an investigative or operational role within a Police environment.
- Professional Qualification in Management (Certificate) or relevant management experience.
- Project Management
