Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum.

The purpose of this job as a Senior Commercial Analyst is to spot and evaluate new opportunities; provide effective financial and marketing analytics and appraisals; manage the tender programme and access new funding streams.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience required by our ideal Senior Commercial Analyst:

- Proven experience of financial modelling and cost analysis, creation and monitoring of effective business appraisals

- Demonstrable experience of financial and impact analysis and risk management to inform the creation and delivery of new products and effective marketing plans

- Experience of successfully managing a tender programme, ensuring all bids submitted are of high quality, with a high win rate.

- Experience of identifying business opportunities and developing successful new products and services

- Experience of building and maintaining positive and productive networks

- A degree or qualification in finance or marketing is desirable

- Ability to review a range of complex contract, lease, SLA, TUPE or property appraisal requirements and ability to identify and appraise risks

- Ability to maximise the use of spreadsheets, database and financial systems

- Excellent presentation, negotiating, influencing and excellent communication skills

- Ability to develop and use simple financial modelling methods to communicate effectively with operational colleagues

- Ability to effectively lead and manage programmes of work and complex projects

- Ability to solve problems, and make effective evidence-based decisions

- Excellent IT skills

- Knowledge and understanding of contracts, SLA and property leases

- Knowledge of the housing, health and social care sector and care and support markets
