Excellent opportunities for two driven Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with a solid electrical bias to join an internationally recognised world manufacturer of FMCG products.

? Maintenance of all process and packing equipment
? Adherence to strict safety procedures and identification of safety improvements
? Issuing of permits to work and use of the isolation procedures
? Following and promoting stringent health & safety and hygiene related processes
? Involvement in continuous improvement projects and TPM
? Contribute to control of spares and equipment purchased
? Use of Computerised Maintenance system to monitor and analyse machine performance
? Engineering support for plant start up, shutdown and changeovers
? Training and development of Junior Engineers
? Possess HNC/ONC qualification in a mechanical OR electrical engineering discipline (Ideally Apprentice trained)
? Multi-Skilled Engineer with solid electrical bias
? Ability to fault find on PLC - Ideally Siemens S7-300 - any further modification experience advantageous but not essential
? Understanding of IT Skills ideally - SAP Experience
? Experience with coaching and teaching other Engineers
? Committed to quality, hygiene, safety, high standards of performance and accuracy
The role is working 12 hour rotating shifts. 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
You will be a skilled Maintenance Engineer capable of carrying out maintenance work to fast moving automated production lines - preferably with an active interest in food and drink - and who proactively identifies and communicates to engage employees. Maintenance Engineers with a solid understanding of engineering practices as well always striving to continually better themselves and the business.
This role is commutable from within and around the following areas: Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne.
