Due to their continuing success my client based in the outskirts of Stroud are currently recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their expanding company on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities/Duties;

-Demonstrate a professional, proficient and confident attitude to our customers and their representatives.

-Perform work tasks in line with the project method statements and risk assessments

-Comply with companies and client's health and safety policy at all times

-Report promptly any deviations observed from these policies and notify the appropriate person or H&S representative

-Liaise, manage and audit sub-contractors in the execution and for the duration of their contracted works packages

-Plan, commission and set to work the complete project utilising wiring diagrams and commissioning documentation in order to meet the requirements of the project programme

-Accurately record and update control panel drawings and system description of operation in the commissioning documentation file

-Expertly create, amend and test control system software strategies to successfully execute projects detailed requirements

-Design, programme and successfully implement Graphics user packages to meet projects detailed requirements

-Accurately record and report to the Project Engineer any design, engineering changes or issues significant issues that may affect the projects successful completion

-Provide accurate project status site reports to the project engineer accurately reflecting the status of the project

Candidate attributes;

-Formal electrical qualification

-Excellent working knowledge of Siemens X-Works & Desigo Insight and/or Priva BLUE ID/HX is essential

-Knowledge of PRIVA BLUE ID/HX would be an advantage but not necessary

-Detailed application knowledge covering broad range of HVAC plant and systems

-Current valid driving licence.

-CSCS registration

-Computer literate, with a good understanding of IT systems and networking

-Strong interpersonal skills, customer focused, pro-active, problem solver

Hours- 40 hours per week

Salary- £30,000- £40,000 dependant on experience + Company vehicle + Bonus Scheme
