Client Details

Our client, a leading SME Manufacturing Business require an IT Support Site Lead to join their business based near Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Description

Your primary function will be to lead the development of Business Information Systems whilst providing support to the users for their day to day IT needs. You will be responsible supporting the IT systems and leading implementations, software revisions/upgrades. You will liaise close with the Stakeholders of the business to ensure that each individual department is fully supported in terms of their own IT requirements and reporting needs.

Primary responsibilities:

* The continual development of the IT systems to the overall benefit of the business.
* Effectively project-manage software requirements into the business. Develop general business understanding of the data structure within my clients ERP System.
* In line with business needs ensure the appropriate service levels are established and communicated effectively.
* In conjunction with procurement, ensure the appropriate contractual relationship is established.
* Liaise with Heads of Department to deal with and resolve queries from the ERP with the Help Desk.
* Analyse problems and advise on solutions in a timely manner.

Profile

You will be able to demonstrate a clear ability to manage WinTel / IT Systems including Manufacturing ERP systems within an SME environment.

Required skills and experience:

Experience of managing a virtual environment (VMware 5.5 preferred)
Experience with Dell Servers and Dell SAN
Previous experience of managing a Microsoft Exchange 2010 environment
Previous experience of managing a Microsoft Terminal Server 2008 environment
Previous experience of managing Active Directory over multi sites
Previous experience of 3rd /4th line support in a Microsoft Windows 7,8.1 & 10 environment
Experience of administering Group Polices
Experience of managing an ERP environment essential.
Experience of a manufacturing environment essential.
Previous experience of managing an IT Department, (managing remote sites desirable but not essential).
Logical thinker with the ability to solve problems and work out solutions.
General business awareness / understanding.
Well organised, able to plan and produce on-going reports.
Able to work to demanding deadlines.
Customer focused.
Good communicator.

Job Offer

Salary up to £35,000 and dependent on experience.
