Our client is a small but growing organisation and they are now looking to recruit a Part Time Finance Administrator.

HOURS: 9.00am - 3.00pm (3 days per week)
There is a strong possibility that this 18 hour week will increase in the future
HOURLY RATE: £9.00

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE;-

Purchase Ledger
* Reconciling monthly supplier statements and invoices against purchase orders
* Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details with the Purchase Ledger
* Inputting supplier purchase orders
* Dealing with purchase enquiries
* Inputting bills and ensuring timely payments via cheque
* Updating financial system to reflect monthly expenses paid by direct debit

Credit Control
* Chasing overdue invoices and maintaining accurate log of communications with customers
* Reconciling remittance advice notes with payments made into bank accounts
* Maintaining up to date and accurate customer account logs
* Reporting to management outstanding issues and inform of early potential debtor problems
* Receiving cheque payments unto financial system (QuickBooks)

Other
* Managing and maintaining efficient financial filing systems and periodic archival storage
* Developing a full understanding of department processes
* Other admin tasks as required

Candidate Specification;-
* Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work as part of a small team and deal professionally with suppliers and customers
* Previous Accounts / Bookkeeping experience
* Ability to work to monthly deadlines
* Self motivated with good time management and organisational skills
