Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job in Kettering. Electrical Bias. Double Day shifts. Salary up to £36k

Your new company
Established in the 1980's, this British-owned company is going from strength to strength and is rapidly growing it's market share across the UK. Employing 300 staff across 2 sites, they have a diverse customer base ranging from blue chip organisations, FMCGs, and charitable organisations. Due to securing new business, their production levels have gone up so they require a Multi-skilled Engineer to join their maintenance team.

Your new role
You'll join a team of 2 Maintenance Engineers and report directly to the Operations Director, providing swift and accurate servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment. Your key accountabilities will include fault diagnosis and troubleshooting electrical, electronic and mechanical problems on machines; a pro-active maintenance and repair approach; ensuring that adequate and appropriate spare parts are readily available

What you'll need to succeed
You've got a recognised Industrial Electrical qualification up to IEE 17th Edition and a recognised engineering apprenticeship. You're electrically biased with the ability to carry out mechanical repairs. You'll be able to read and fault find from electrical and electronic schematic drawings as well as having some experience of working with a mechanical maintenance schedule. Your previous experience of working on manufacturing plant and machinery will be essential in this job as will your working knowledge of PLC controls, primarily Siemens, and Inverter AC Drives.
