Established over 100 years ago the company has built its success on its ability to improve and develop it product range and keep pace with changes in the industry it serves. Due to an ambitious expansion plan fuelled by a growing requirement for their products

The company is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to work at the company site close to Huntingdon, Cambs.

They company is currently is in the midst of a multi-million pound refit of their Cambridge plant and they are looking for a “hands on”Maintenance ManagerORMaintenance Supervisor looking for their next career move. Initially you will be involved in the completion of the commissioning phase of the project and to help the business move into the production phase. In the midst of this the supervisor will grow a team around them around them as production starts which will lead onto a more management centric role as production ramps up.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Manager who is looking for a fresh challenge and still enjoys “getting their hands dirty” or an experienced maintenance supervisor who already has some of the man management skills but wants to take the next step up taking responsibility for the whole maintenance operation.
Preference will be given to those individuals with an electrical bias to their engineering knowledge.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate:

• A recognised qualification in electromechanical engineering

• Significant “hands on” experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial plant to includes work on automated production machinery

• Previously held a supervisory level post over an engineering team

• Experience in managing and coordinating external contractors and resources

• Experience of dealing with regularly changing priorities, some of which have conflicting deadlines (examples may be asked for)
