Service Desk Advisor, Service Desk Analyst

Location: Wokingham

Service Desk Analyst / Service Desk Engineer: ITIL, Windows 7/8 +, Active Directory, Exchange, General LAN

I am currently engaged with an established Managed Services Company who provide a full range of Managed Network, Connectivity, Virtualisation & Cloud Technology Solutions. Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for 2x Service Desk Engineers to be the first point of contact for various customers contacting the Service Desk. You will be expected to log incidents and manage enquiries whilst troubleshooting, and escalating incidents internally/with 3r parties as required in order to meet and exceed SLA's.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logging Incidents, taking requests and managing enquiries
  • Troubleshooting and 1st Line Technical Support
  • Escalate Internally and Log Incidents with 3rd Parties as required

Relevant Experience & Technical Skills

  • Experience working on a Service Desk in a Managed Service Environment
  • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
  • Basic Networking knowledge: LAN, WAN
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V/VMWare)
  • Skype for Business / Lync
  • Active Directory,
  • Exchange
  • Understanding of ITIL
