Contract: Up to 9 month fixed term contract

We are currently looking for an IT Asset Manager to join our team based in Oldham on an up to 9 month fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate will be required to lead the IT Asset Management Team, and manage the Partnership's IT Assets throughout the IT Asset Lifecycle from requirements definition, to procurement, operation and disposal.


- Define, establish and manage the Partnership's IT Asset Management policies & processes.
- Lead and manage the IT Asset Management team.
- Manage the IT Asset Lifecycle from requirements definition, to procurement, operation and disposal.
- Plan, budget and execute the IT Asset procurement strategy to manage and refresh the Partnership's IT estate.
- Ensure that the Partnership's IT Asset Inventory is accurate and trustworthy; ensure that all IT assets are tracked, clearly identifiable by location & user & all audit requirements supported.
- Administer the IT Asset Database
- Manage Software Assets, ensuring compliance of licence and use policy requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Service Catalogue
- Support the production of IT Services Management Information and KPI's

Skills and Experience:


- Proven experience of managing and procuring IT Assets Good knowledge of IT services delivered within a corporate environment
- Knowledge of Request Fulfilment
- Knowledge of Change Management
- Knowledge of Problem management Able to maintain good supplier relationships
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office


- Knowledge of Social Housing and Social Care
- Project Management experience or certification


- ITIL Version 3 Foundation Certificate
- ITIL Version 3 - Intermediate Certificate - Service Offerings and Agreements Module (SOA)
- Gober Training or equivalent
