Land Planner - New Build Housing


Salary £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)


The Company:

My Client is a National Housing Developer looking for an experienced Land Planner to join there innovative team.

To be considered for this role you must have a solid knowledge and understanding of the planning process. Preferably you will have a good local knowledge of the area and experience either within a town planning support role or worked for a reputable House Builder. Strong negotiation skills, time management and a methodological way of thinking are a must.

The Planner will be responsible for:

  • Pro-actively working alongside the strategic team
  • Provide planning advice to the relevant departments
  • Input towards the Land budgeting
  • Work with current promotional strategies that are in place as and when required
  • Company representation with Local Authorities
  • Preparing planning appraisals

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Qualified in Town Planning to degree level/HND or similar qualification
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Motivated individual
