Grounds Maintenance Operative

Your new company
In this role you will be required to work as part of the team that carry out a wide range of horticultural tasks and sports pitch maintenance works across two sites in Devon & Somerset. After the relevant training you will be expected to operate a range of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment.
Your new role
- General horticultural maintenance operations of the grounds and associated areas throughout the estates including litter picking, weeding, pruning and planting turf maintenance.
- Driving, operation and maintenance of horticultural and other grounds maintenance machinery which may include larger equipment powered by tractor and machinery hired by the estate.
- Assisting with the preparation of soil and areas associated with the establishing of hard and soft landscaping around new buildings, including the installation or provision of new sports facilities
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working as a professional Grounds Maintenance operative or similar role is essential. You will need to hold a full UK Driving License. A good attitude to work and a sense of achievement will hold you in good stead.
What you'll get in return
Pay is experience dependant, contract lengths can vary from 2 weeks to 3-4 months per job.
