Medical Sales Manager – Diabetic Care Consumables

Prosum Medical Ltd is an international company that develops and distributes a wide range of medical consumable products, including Injection Systems, Diabetes Care, Infusion Therapy, Nutrition Therapy, Blood Collection System, Anaesthesia Systems, Interventional Vascular Diagnostics & Therapy, Veterinary, etc.

We are looking for Medical Sales Managerto join our fast growing team and to be responsible for sales of our Diabetic Care product portfolio (inulin pen needles, insulin pen, lancets, strips, etc.).


·Achieve target sales and growth.

·Liaising with NHS Trust, CCG, GP, diabetic specialists & nurses, community care settings, etc.

·Developing new and existing relationships through regular visits and follow-ups, promoting the range of products to ensure targeted growth is achieved.

·Attending exhibitions nationally and internationally if needed. 

·Working as part of the sales team, you will keep up to date with developments in the territory and provide feedback to colleagues.

·Supporting all local & national marketing strategies and initiatives and make suggestions for new initiatives. Attend quarterly sales meetings and actively contribute to driving future sales.

·Ensuring your key accounts are managed effectively liaising with head office staff as appropriate. 

·Ensuring that your product knowledge and sector knowledge is kept up to date by communicating with product team or by own study. Provide support to new staff as may be requested.

·Providing high quality training support for key customers, liaising with internal resources where appropriate.


·3 years+ medical related sales experience

·Good understanding of the diabetic care settings

·Previous NHS Trusts and CCG contacts is preferable

·Good sales track record is preferable

·Medical field background is an advantage (e.g. Nurse, etc.)

·Educated to a degree level is an advantage

    Self-motivated, Highly organised with strong work ethics, and communication skills, Trustworthy and Honest
·Access to a car with a full UK driving license – willing to travel and attend sales meetings

·Competent with Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel

Salary: Competitive Salary + Commission + Bonus (package negotiable)

Location: Manchester based office, North West / Other Territory
