Our powerful platform will provide a central dashboard that enables, improves, and automates a large number of tasks that every online retailer faces on a daily basis.This is just the beginning of our journey, after years of experience, research and planning we are now ready to develop the platform.We are not just looking for a run-of-the-mill developer, we are looking for someone special that can combine ability, enthusiasm, experience, and skill to be help us shape our ideas and begin the development of our platform.The Role:
  • Investigate and recommend a technical specification for the development of our new platform.
  • Work with team members to define the functionality, specifications and features of our service
  • Ensure that our system is easy to use, has a high level of security and doesn’t contain bugs
  • Maintain a high standard of coding practice, with clear comments, good documentation, and effective use of revision control
  • Explore new product opportunities through creativity, research and prototyping
  • Immerse yourself in the tech scene to ensure we remain innovative
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively to the entire team
This role is an opportunity to join a young, exciting, and innovative start-up. As a programming guru with strong experience and analytical skills, you will have a significant say in the technology and architecture of the project. Essential Skills:
  • Strong programming skills in a collection of relevant languages, such as Java, PHP, .NET, Python, SQL, Objective-C, Javascript, etc 
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting
  • Experience of consumer-facing deployment, incorporating collaboration with designers and demonstrating attention to usability and performance
  • Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming
  • Ambition, tenacity, and self-starting with the ability to identify creative new approaches
