Role: Café Manager
Location: Select Convenience, Derby (DE1 2AY)
Salary: £20,000per annum

The James Retail Group is looking for someone with a passion for food, and experience of managing in a catering environment. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive in growing business, and is not afraid to work at all levels within the Food-to-Go facility to achieve team objectives.
As Café Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing a team in ensuring food quality, availability and presentation, whilst maintaining high cleanliness levels and working in line with current legislation at all times. With the support of the Company’s Food-to-Go Manager, you will have input into creating and costing dishes, and contribute to the continued growth and potential of the Café.
You must be flexible with your working week and ensure the Café is managed between the hours of 5am and 8pm Monday to Saturday, and 7am and 6pm on Sunday.
As Café Manager, you must be passionate about maintaining brand standards, be confident with financial information, managing budgets and costing; and above all providing an exceptional customer service. You will also hold excellent time management and organisational skills which allow you to adapt well to tasks and priorities as and when required.
