Business Development Manager - £50k - Uncapped Bonus - Fully Expensed Company Car
Business Development Manager is required for a growing, multi modal Freight Forwarder.
This role will be predominantly working from home but must live in commutable distance of Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Milton Keynes and have preciously sold in these areas.
Due to company growth a Business Development Manager is required to win new business by adding value through promotion of their services.
The successful Business Development Manager MUST have sold road Freight for a Freight Forwarder in Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Milton Keynes.
Road Freight essential
Ability to bring business, clients and contacts will be a distinct advantage.
Salary £45K - £50K
Monday - Friday but must work a minimum of 4 days
Fully expensed Company Car or your choice

This role offers a completely flexible working arrangement. The aim is completely to develop business and make money so whatever suits - but you will be asked to report to Head Office once a month or when required and work at least 4 days a week.
Business Development Manager Role:
You will be home based and selling in the North Area.
You will manage your own diary and develop your own portfolio of opportunities.
Achieve new business sales targets by developing relationships with new (and lapsed) customers
Generate own leads and opportunities and follow up on any leads and referrals resulting from Company Operations activity
Proactively own the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale:
Arrange own meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Negotiate the terms of a sale (price, costs, delivery and specifications) with buyers and close the sale
Effectively interact with the Operations team to fully and effectively brief them on new sales & new customers
Gather and maintain detailed market and target customer information including a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements
Maintain a detailed knowledge of the Company's products, services and pricing structures
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and compliancy with products and services sold
Maintain sales pipeline ensuring all sales administration/reporting is current using CRM software
Maintain a monthly personal sales activity plan including the quantity, direction and quality of all sales activity.
Business Development Manager Requirements:
MUST be an experienced sales person with drive and passion
Previously sold European Road Freight ESSENTIAL
Commutable to Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Milton Keynes and sold in these areas
Air & Sea Fright would be beneficial
MUST have worked for a freight forwarder
Ability to use your initiative, stand on your own feet and be a self-starter
