As Michael Page Finance's growth business of the year, we are looking to hire additional consultants to continue to drive our ambitious SME development strategy across the Northern Home Counties and East Anglia region.

The Michael Page Finance division is where the company started and is the most successful and profitable qualified accountancy recruiter in the UK - we have 220 consultants recruiting over 6 qualified accountants into businesses every hour.

Effectively run as a franchise subsidiary, the Northern Home Counties division operates out of St Albans, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and Oxford offices with 25 fee earners recruiting for a range of local SME's, PLC's, Practice firms and Not-For-Profit clients.

Managing your own workload and portfolio, you will be responsible for developing new business within the SME market by identifying, targeting and meeting new clients by way of selling Michael Page's service offering, track record and candidate base.

Additionally your role will include: generating quality candidates for our market; offering career, recruitment and market insight to all our customers; influencing a variety of stakeholders and decision makers to achieve the best outcome for all; negotiations fees and other commercial terms; and preparing an array of marketing strategies both for Michael Page and our customers.

Furthermore, you will be expected to manage your own workload with a focus on commercial return on investment, and operate collaboratively with the wider business.


Degree educated, you will have a successful track record in a client facing environment and demonstrable experience of implementing change in a fluid and target based work environment. You will be comfortable engaging with customers and colleagues both over the phone and in person, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a well organised and structured approach to managing your workload. Most importantly, you will be motivated to be successful and be the best in whatever it is that you turn your hand to.
