Your new company
Hays Education work with a variety of Early Years Settings including Private Day Nurseries, Pre-Schools and School Nurseries and are currently recruiting supply bank staff for immediate start. We work with settings with excellent reputations and outstanding on-site facilities looking for supply cover to join their teams. If suitable there may be opportunities for long term and permanent posts.
Your new role
As a nursery nurse you will be required to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm across Monday to Friday. We have different shift patterns and term time only settings available to suit your individual needs and working as bank staff you can select the days you are / are not available to work.
You will need to be flexible to work across all rooms in Private Day Nurseries and you will be providing constant care to the children following the EYFS and Safeguarding guidelines.
Overall your main responsibilities are to work alongside the Nursery management, following out set instructions whilst being proactive and ensuring all children are cared for at all times and are working towards positive outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
As a nursery nurse you will be required to be Level 3 qualified and have recent experience working within childcare. You will need up to date Safeguarding training & knowledge and an excellent understanding of the EYFS. You will need to be flexible to work with children from babies to pre-school age and have a real passion and motivation for working in childcare.
