The Human Support Group are a national company that was established in 1998 and who provide care in the community to over 3,000 service users each week which is growing week to week.

We are currently looking for an exceptional and experienced Care Manager to manage our well established Homecare Support branch in Pembrokeshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the care service ensuring the delivery of high end, quality care to service users which meets legislative requirements and the CSSIW standards.

Salary, Benefits, Hours and requirements:

·Salary up to £38,000/annum

·Working hours of 40 per week, flexibility required to meet the needs of the business with main working shift patterns between 8am-6pm Monday – Friday.

·Driver’s licence is a must due to the nature of the position

·Paid Training

·Knowledge of Health and Social Care

·Understanding of MS Office applications as well as able to use in-house systems effectively (CM2000)

·Excellent customer service skills both via telephone and in person

·Attention to detail is a must in this role to ensure you work towards company policies and procedures, ensuring the quality of care standard is consistent throughout our services.

·Interest in the industry and passion for care

Duties and responsibilities:

·To actively participate in the growth and development of the business through a commercial understanding of the sector and local area with a can do attitude

·To develop and manage relationships with Service Users, Local Authorities, Families and Clients

·Ensure the successful operation of quality control processes, safeguarding processes and health and safety requirements

·Work in partnership with the CSSIW and Local Authority

·Effectively support, lead and motivate a remote workforce providing supervision, guidance and advice when required.

·To ensure that a compliant, high quality and sustainable service is delivered from the branch

·To ensure that there is effective communication at all levels internally and externally

·To produce and interpret Management information so that the branch is continuously improving and exceeding targets set

·To ensure that any issues which arise are dealt with effectively and efficiently within the framework provided

Successful candidates will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check shortly after being successful from interview, the cost of this will be met by the employer. This role has an exception under the Equality Act 2010 as you must be aged 18 or over.
