Job Role 
You will be working in the IT support desk department, helping clients with their IT problems over the phone and via remote support 
As a IT Apprentice, you will be required to: 

Assist the IT department in supporting and maintaining IT systems both for the company and for external clients. 
This role also includes: 
  • Answering telephone calls on the IT Support Desk. 
  • Being responsible for dealing with 1st line enquiries from clients, organising and attending site visits to client’s premises with Senior Engineers. 
During your apprenticeship, you will be working on IT servers and workstations as directed and liaising with customers daily. 
You will also be assisting the IT engineers on site at client’s premises, performing hardware and software installations, regular health checks and Cat5e/Cat6 cabling installations.

Qualifications & Skills Required 
  • The Company are looking for a Hardworking and motivated individual who is interested in learning and succeeding in IT. 
  • To be considered for this role, you must have at least a C grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. 
  • A basic understanding of IT is essential. 
  • You will have excellent customer service and communication skills. 
  • Training Provided 
  • You will be enrolled onto the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. You will work towards gaining the Microsoft certifications MTA Cloud Fundamentals, MTA Network Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation and CompTIA A+. This apprenticeship is delivered remotely via a live virtual classroom using the very latest Microsoft technologies. These qualifications are globally recognized industry certifications and form the significant building block of IT knowledge for anybody looking to start a career in IT. 

Future Prospects and Career Progression 
We see this role progressing into full time employment within the company. They encourage all apprentices to undertake the necessary training provided internally as this is a good way of progressing within the company.
