An exciting temporary opportunity has emerged with one of our leading Local Government clients in South-East London for a Tenancy Sustainment and Resettlement Officer to join the team for 3 months, with the possibility of the role becoming on-going after this initial period.

The role will be working with a mixed client group, so previous experience of working with more one than one client group (e.g- Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol, Homelessness, Domestic Violence) is required for this post. Previous experience of supporting young clients (e.g.- 16/17 year old's) would be useful, but not essential.

The successful candidate will provide support throughout the housing process in obtaining and settling into suitable independent tenancies or appropriate designated supported schemes where necessary.

It is a full-time role (9am- 5pm Monday- Friday), and a valid DBS/CRB obtained within the past 12 months is essential. Candidates do need to be able to drive for this post, so access to their own vehicle and a willingness to visit clients in the local borough is required, as they will be undertaking homeless prevention visits and where necessary, tenancy sustainment visits.

Good problem solving skills, a willingness to embrace challenges, good understanding of welfare reforms and its impact, as well as the ability to manage challenging situations will be important aspects of this role.

Only applicants who feel they fit this specific criteria need apply.
