Our client is a successful advertising company who produce one of the UK's best new adverstising platforms and due to increased demand they have an immediate vacancy for Advertising Tele Sales Executives.

Salary: 16k Basic + £4k OTE annual performance bonus + Uncapped commission

Job Purpose: To sell local B2B advertising space on an innovative digital marketing platform

Objective of the Role:

  • Persuading clients to buy advertising space or time

  • Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organisations and contacting them

  • Explaining the benefits of our medium, using statistics on viewing figures

  • Closing the deal and recording the details

Key Accountabilities

  • Engage & interact with existing customers to encourage them to promote local advertising in their venue to generate advertising sales leads.

  • Follow up sales leads and engage with local business decision makers in order to make new sales of Advertising Space.

  • Selling the features of the product and describing accurately how they can benefit from the new platform.

  • Build effective relationships with customers by use of good listening skills, appropriate questioning and appropriate language.

  • Speaking positively and enthusiastically about it’s services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided.

  • Keep the CRM tool updated with all relevant information.

  • Set up tasks to ensure follow up calls are made as required

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Minimum of GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above).

  • Experience in Advertising Sales or Advertising Telesales essential

  • Able to demonstrate own sales success, targets surpassed and achievements in a B2B environment.

  • Previous experience selling into the hospitality, licensed trade or leisure industry would be beneficial along with advertising sales experience.

  • Excellent listening and questioning skills

  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate with all levels of individual over the telephone with an ability to think on your feet.

  • Able to work effectively and accurately under pressure with high levels of attention to detail

  • Proactive self-starter motivated by achieving targets.

  • Strong numerical, written and computer skills

  • Experience in using different IT packages, databases and CRM tools and being internet savvy with good keyboard skills.
