POSITION SUMMARY

To work with the sales team, in the Promotion of new and existing products. To manage assigned Key Accounts. To supervise the sales staff and to organize all training needed to complete tasks. To liaise with the factory manager and planning department as and when trials are needed.

It is every member of staff’s primary responsibility to produce a safe, legal product that meets our customer’s expectations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To liaise with customers for any sales enquiries.
  • Promote Company products.
  • Visit customers to take orders for products.
  • To ensure that the company customer service level is adhered to.
  • To arrange/assist with the NPD Assistant/Sales Representative for samples to be sent to customer.
  • Promote company products.
  • Carry out general duties for and on behalf of the company as desired by the MD from time to time.
  • To laisase with customers on the product specification that they require, and any issues that may arise.
  • To maintain all quality control records with regards to trials.
  • To be involved in the conception, development of all new products.
  • To assess their evaluation, shelf life testing, transit test and accompanying records.
  • To keep abreast of all new legislation.
  • To understand the government Food Standards Agency directives on Guidelines Daily Amounts and Multi Traffic Lights Labeling.
  • To ensure that the production staff are following the recipe to specification.
  • To ensure that the company customer service level is adhered to.
  • To put together weekly KPI report.
  • To Liaise/Coordinate with NPD consultant, Technical Manager and operations Manager.

In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
