Online retailer based in East Lancashire have experienced significant growth in recent years and is looking to support its future growth ambitions with the recruitment of a Merchandiser for a growing department within the company.
As the divisions merchandiser you will be required to place UK supplier order, within budgets, minimising risk and maximising sales potential. Forecast weekly sales, stock and intake at category level, production of management information including trend analysis and commentary on stock. You will be assisting in the planning of budgets, supplier invoice matching and issue reconciliation. Good communication and attention to detail skills are imperative.
The successful Merchandiser will have excellent analytical skills and a background in merchandising / purchasing. You will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ideally be educated to degree level, however experience and personality are more important. You will be able to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment and be confident at communicating across the board with a background of online retail trading.
In return my client offers a starting salary of £20,000 - £28,,000 per annum dependant upon experience along with a bonus scheme, cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers, staff discount and 32 days’ holiday.
