Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) is one of the UK's leading research-focused higher education institutions. The M&E Project Manager is a 12 month fix term contract appointment to manage several energy related infrastructure projects that have just received SALIX funding. You will act as the University’s lead on all schemes ensuring that they are delivered within budget and on time. Specific projects include:

·LED Lighting Upgrades.

·HVAC Upgrades.

·Central Equipment, Pumps, Boilers, Controls Upgrades.

·1.0MW CHP installation.

You will be required to work with other services across Estate & Facilities as well as overseeing the work of contractors and consultants to ensure plans are complying with agreed standards and policies. You will also act as a technical ambassador for your discipline and contribute to developing standards for energy projects across the University.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in the design and delivery of M&E building services projects across a technically complex estate portfolio. You will have strong technical skills, with excellent knowledge and understanding of building services and infrastructure including design standards, new technologies and innovation.
