My Client is currently looking for someone to join there growing team of Client service executives to promote initiatives to small and medium businesses to help with there UK and abroad growth. My client is looking for the right candidate to have exposure to B2B sales ideally in an events and media capacity and to be able act in a consultative manner but be comfortable with carrying out a transactional sell.

They put a large emphasis on working with companies from the entire business spectrum, working alongside some of the biggest names in the world all the way to small businesses and startups. Our client has recently begun working on promoting a new government growth initiative, designed to benefit small and medium sized business expand not just in the UK but also abroad. They are looking for an effective sales person who has a thirst for knowledge and wants to progress within a large organisation.

Description

Duties of the Business Development Executive Include:

  • Being aware of current business activity's and identifying businesses with high growth potential
  • Sell benefits of the growth initiative to businesses who have been identified
  • Proactively manage the client journey with a consultative approach
  • Provide timely, effective and courteous communication with clients at all times
  • Liaising with administrative and growth executive teams, and the analytical and insights team to ensure a joined-up approach to client journey management and performance reporting.
  • Maintain effective management of client portfolio and show initiative in dealing with problems

Profile

The successful Business Development Executive will have:

  • First class influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to promote effectively
  • Previous experience of working in a targeted sales environment
  • Great customer service aptitude
  • Must be confident conversing with clients over the phone on a wide range of topics
  • Strong organisational ability and be able to use MS packages as well as CRM systems
  • A credible professional mentality and be effective at engaging with business owners
  • B2B sales experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Background in financial management or data processing
