DMD are recruiting for an Internal Sales on behalf of a leading construction manufacturer in the Greater Manchester area.
The main role is to develop and maintain customer quotations, generation of new business and product development; in addition to this the successful candidate will support the current internal sales team with technical enquiries.
The role also involves non-standard product costing, order processing and the responsibility of developing new accounts by proactively contacting new customers and finding new market opportunities.
The challenge will be to help the Company ensure continuous sales growth through direct telephone sales, price negotiation, and the proactive development of new sales opportunities to both existing and prospective customers. By applying their sales skills; the sales coordinator will develop and maintain new sales which will be beneficial and profitable.
In this role you will liaise with the supply chain, operations and external sales team. The function is key to increase sales and services currently offered, improve lead times and help in maximizing company turnover, profitability and efficiency
You will need to be self-driven, enthusiastic and have a real flair for customer service. You will also have sales experience ideally from the construction industry, or similar, and be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly gain full product technical knowledge of both manufacture and use.
You will have experience of product costing in a bespoke environment, be able to work on your own initiative, and be capable of establishing and maintaining close business relationships
