Senior Creative Artworker - Digital and Print

I am looking to speak with Creative Artworkers from a Healthcare/Pharmaceutical background boasting a strong understanding of rigorous review and compliance requirements and an awareness of different deliverables according to stakeholders involved

You'll have an awareness of traffic management systems and a proven experience of seniority/managing a team with the ability to impact, by creating new IP, or iterating existing processes rather than just replicating them

You'll be an experienced hands on senior artworker with exceptional knowledge of both print and digital processes. In time the role will evolve to become a dual role as both a studio manager and a senior artworker, with an extensive understanding of both print production and digital executions.

Responsibilities:

Senior Artworker

- Responsible for supply of files against specifications according to asset type (digital and print)
- Responsible for planning and prioritising personal work load
- Estimate and advise on process/development of any studio pieces at any stage of development
- Interpret creative ideas from a scamp to the finished piece, with the ability to think 'outside the box' to adapt creative ideas in line with budgets and timescales, whilst still maintaining creative integrity
- Work with internal teams, third party vendors and clients seamlessly: ensuring projects are pushed along according to schedules created and so delivered on time
- Troubleshoot any issues early on thereby helping to create realistic timelines based on expertise
- Understand print finishing processes
- Maintain and organise the Production drive across studio
- Maintain the Library server with client assets across studio
- Maintain studio process across freelance and permanent employees
- Ensure artwork is consistent to brand/healthcare requirements across studio
- Ensure client assets are updated and disseminated across studio

Studio Admin

- Image, licensing, print and font purchases across studio
- Ensure materials are installed/saved accordingly
- Disseminate important studio information to creative team
- File copies/digital proofs/mock-ups of print materials accordingly for future reference/pitch scenarios
- Ensure studio timesheets (freelance initially) are completed on time

Studio Management (to further define and develop over time)

- Accountable for all working practices and quality of all materials that leave studio
- Manage workflow of studio ensuring work is completed to brief and deadlines
- Accountable for the studio process being maintained - evolving processes as the company grows
- Accountable for resourcing in studio
- Accountable for quality and development requirements of studio team

- Manages accelerated studio process
- Line manages junior studio members

- Accountable for best quality/cost effective studio running including license, image, font, print, hardware, software purchases

Personality/Skills and Experience:

- Substantial experience as a senior artwoker working across print and digital outputs in an agency environment
- A complete working knowledge of Adobe CS
- High attention to detail and highly organised
- Creative and technically sound
- Able to efficiently handle a number of projects and responsibilities at one time
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams
- Constantly learning about the latest production/print techniques.
- Able to think coolly in stressful situations; dealing professionally and objectively throughout
- Proactive and self-motivated
