A family owned, dynamic and well respected building services organisation are currently recruiting for an engineering supervisor to work on a state of the art, brand new broadcasting complex based in East London. The contract has been live for the past year, however since have added a brand new data centre, press centre, theatre and also broadcasting station.

The Role

- The supervisor will be responsible for managing a small team offour engineers across a large, busy and demanding contract, reporting to a site based contract manager, day to day tasks will include; setting up teams, managing RAMS, dealing with sub-contractors, responding to clients issues, issuing PPM's and appropriate work throughout the team.
- Responsible for quoting works, arranging sub-contractors, managing small project upgrades and also being part of the call out rota.
- The supervisor will also expected to be hands on
- Promotion to contract management within 6-12 months.

- The business are a £50M organisation, initially started up as a small family owned organisation and effectively still are, however they are a very well structured and turn a healthy profit. The company are great for looking after staff, and the progression opportunities are fantastic, with regular contract wins they are always looking at promoting the correct people internally and with a low turnover of staff (6 in 6 years), it says a lot about how the engineers are treated.

The Ideal Candidate

- The ideal candidate should have completed a full electrical apprenticeship and have at least 3 years working as a supervisor within the building services industry; HV and LV authorisation are desired but not essential. Candidates should be well presented have a dynamic approach and be keen and eager to progress through the ranks.Benefits
