About this Role:

The role is to Site Manage the build of a new 27 million build of student accommodation.

You will sit below the project manager and deal with the day to day running of the site including Labour and Subcontractor Management, Quality Control, Reporting, Technical Support. The site will need to be organised so that work is carried out to the right standard with minimum H & S risk to the public, operatives, equipment, supervisory staff, environment and the materials. You will need experience of building student accommodation or similar builds. The role will be looking to start in March.

This opportunity is with the busy and well established regional office of a larger top twenty multi-national main contractor, based in Bristol.

With an annual turnover of £80m plus, they have a proven track record in the delivery of schemes in the commercial, healthcare, higher education, student accommodation and heritage sectors.

Geographical patch covers the Bristol, Bath, Devon, Gloucestershire, and South Wales.

Projects range from £25m-£50m in value, and are secured on a mixture of frameworks, negotiated work with repeat clients, and competitive tenders.

They have a reputation for quality, safety, plus staff retention, development and progression

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Experience and proven track record of working on large projects

Standard qualifications are required SMSTS, 1st Aid, CSCS etc.

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
