Key responsibilities:

  • Contacting suppliers for invoices, validating information, collating copies for distribution, checking and reconciling all documentation before distribution
  • Raising invoices for customers in excel with confirmed supplier invoice information
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Managing petty cash and reconciliation
  • General accounts duties to support inhouse accounts team
  • Provide personal assistance to the company Directors when required for organising and maintaining diaries, booking appointments and following up any outstanding issues as required

The potential candidate would require being:

  • Skilled in using both Mac and PC platform with particular competency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting software
  • A positive, motivated person who understands that this role provides critical support to the team and Directors
  • A person who is diligent in their work processes and meticulous in checking content to ensure all correspondence being received and sent out is precise
  • Able to exhibit clear customer service and communication skills with excellent spoken and written English and a friendly telephone manner
  • Competent in demonstrating a professional manner at all times and observing the confidentiality protocols our company adheres to

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years minimum previous accounts, administration or assistant experience
  • Must have knowledge of Sage 50 accounts software with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Hours of work: 9:00am to 6:00pm

Start: As soon as possible

Salary indication: £22,000
